ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - As the Senate weighs President Biden's $1.9 trillion COVID relief package, Congressman Ben Cline (R-VA 06) is defending his vote against that bill in the House. "It's a partisan bill funding Democrat priorities, not COVID bipartisan priorities," Cline said. "If we were to scale it back and make it directly related to COVID, I think that would be something that I would look at supporting." The relief bill passed the house 219-209, without any Republican support. |
