Rep. Ben Cline on Passage of Bill to Improve Agency Rulemaking Out of the House Committee on the Judiciary

Today, Rep. Ben Cline (R-VA) released the following statement on the passage of his bill, the Ensuring Accountability in Agency Rulemaking Act (H.R. 357), out of the House Committee on the Judiciary:

“Too many costly regulations are improperly initiated and issued by unelected career bureaucrats, rather than an individual appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate,” said Cline. “That is unacceptable. Today, my legislation passed out of the House Committee on the Judiciary, which ensures federal regulations are made by officials who are accountable to Congress and to the American people.”
