Five House Republicans are pushing a proposal to require independent federal agencies to comply with all regulatory reforms, including those involving unfunded mandates, excessive paperwork, and data quality. The measure—the "Freedom from Regulations Act"—was introduced earlier this week by Rep. Ted Budd (R-N.C.) and is co-sponsored by Reps. Chip Roy (R-Texas), Ben Cline (R-Va.), Adrian Smith (R-Neb.), and Bill Flores (R-Texas). |
