Virginia Republican U.S. Rep. Ben Cline stated Tuesday that the Republican agenda is dedicated to fixing deep-seated issues affecting American affordability, which he argued were created by Democrats over many years, spanning from trade globalization to healthcare costs.

Appearing on Florida’s Voice Radio with Drew Steele, Cline highlighted the challenges of reversing long-term policy effects but pointed to specific areas where the GOP is taking action.

“We’ve tackled affordability from day one,” Cline said, noting that price hikes were due to the previous administration’s regulatory measures and legislation that created inflation over the last four years.
