Garth Newel marks 50 years of music in the mountains

Women had on their best dresses and gentlemen made sure to add an extra layer of polish to their shoes for Garth Newel’s 50th Anniversary Gala at The Homestead.

The event was to commemorate 50 years of the Garth Newel Music Center.

Attendees were dazzled with the newly renovated hotel that spared no expense to wow its guests. Peter Fowler served as the master of ceremonies and announced every guest who entered the Crystal Ballroom, treating them to a warm welcome as they entered the space.

As always, Shawn Puller, executive director at Garth Newel Music Center, was at the entrance to greet all attendees with a show of hospitality and a welcoming handshake. The space was a sort of home away from the “new home” — as it were.
