American Legion Post 16 1301 Greenview Drive Lynchburg, VA 24502 Residents of Lynchburg are invited to a town hall event with Congressman Ben Cline (VA-06) next week. This town hall event is an opportunity for residents of Lynchburg to engage in a dialogue with Rep. Cline about important issues in Virginia's Sixth Congressional District. The Lynchburg town hall will take place Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM at American Legion Post 16 located at 1301 Greenview Drive Lynchburg, VA 24502. In order to accommodate the diverse schedule of Sixth District constituents, Rep. Cline has rotated all of his town halls between morning, lunch, and evening meetings. The previous town hall in Lynchburg was held in the evening. "I look forward to meeting with the citizens of Lynchburg next week," Cline said. "As with my previous town halls in the area, this forum will allow me to engage with Lynchburg residents and better take their views to Washington." Constituents planning to attend should register here on Eventbrite. Citizens of Lynchburg will be given priority regarding comments during the town hall. Signs and noisemakers are prohibited. Congressman Ben Cline represents the Sixth Congressional District of Virginia. He previously was an attorney in private practice and served both as an assistant prosecutor and Member of the Virginia House of Delegates. Cline and his wife, Elizabeth, live in Botetourt County with their two children. |
