Capitol Tours

Public tours of the Capitol will be conducted with a limited number of staff-led tours and school groups. These tours will be available Monday-Friday from 10am to 2pm. Each office may only reserve one school tour per week. Reservations for all Capitol tours are required and may be made through the form below.

Staff-led tours may have a maximum of 15 guests, so it is recommended that tours be reserved well ahead of time, especially for larger groups.

The House gallery and the CVC gift shop will be open to visitors.

White House Tours

White House tours are now available on a limited, first-come, first-served basis. These tours are self-guided and are available only on Friday and Saturday from 8am-12:30pm (excluding federal holidays or unless otherwise noted).

Tours requests must be submitted no less than 21 days in advance and may not be submitted any more than 90 days in advance. Public tour requests for residents of Virginia's Sixth District must be submitted through the form below.

It is recommended that you submit requests as early as possible for the highest probability of securing a tour. White House tours are free of charge and may be subject to last-minute cancellation.

Tickets are free, and provided on a first-come first-served basis. If my office is unable to secure a congressional tour for the sites you selected, most locations are available for public tours. Please visit the House visitors guide for information about public tour information for many of the sites in Washington D.C.

Admittance is determined by the individual tour site or agency, not by the Congressional office. Unless specified, tours are available Monday through Friday.
