LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ) - A Lynchburg project that got its start late last year has been finished.
That project is the Langhorne Road Bridge Renovation and Blackwater Creek Trail Extension.
The project extends the trail from Langhorne Road to Linkhorne Middle School.
Rep. Ben Cline, R-Lexington, is co-sponsoring a bill that would expand exemptions for local meat processors and producers from federal inspection requirements, according to government documents.
According to the college, students now have immediate access to medical care through in-person and telehealth appointments.
On Friday, Oct. 16, Congressman Ben Cline made a visit to the college to tour the new clinic.

ROANOKE, Va. (WSET) - Congressman Ben Cline introduced a bipartisan bill aimed to make sure legislators don’t vote on something they have not read.
The bill is called the 48-Bill Review Resolution. Currently, Cline said lawmakers have 72 hours to review a proposal. but Cline says there are many loopholes, like Covid 19, that let lawmakers force them to vote early.
Lobbyists who work to influence the federal government report spending, combined, about $3 billion per year for their efforts. But that figure is just a fraction of what corporations and other interests spend on their lobbying.
